The Tibco TB0-120 (TIBCO Enterprise Message Service 6 Certification) examination is required to receive the Enterprise Message Service certification and will include information revolving around the architecture, design, and administration of a messaging solution, servers, and clients using Enterprise Message Service 6. A total of 64 questions will be asked in a period of 90 minutes, 65% of which must be answered correctly to pass.
Two training courses and two knowledge assessment courses are available to take. For additional studying purposes, a practice exam can be downloaded from the TIBCO website; a suggested reading and product documentation list are also available to view. Before taking this exam, it is suggested that all candidates come prepared with a year of experience with Enterprise Application Integration development, along with general networking and database experience.
A major portion of the Tibco TB0-120 exam will cover knowledge of architecture and design. Some concepts that will be questioned include:
2. Security (Including applying security to an EMS implementation and identifying appropriate security options)
3. Performance tuning
4. Transactions (Including inheritance and transactional capabilities of EMS)
5. Messages (Including JMS body types, selectors, and delivery modes)
Participants must also be knowledgeable of APIs and the conceptual aspects of product administration. The ability to describe the configuration process and the Administration Console is highly beneficial.
