The Open Group OG0-9AB : TOGAF 8 - 9 Advanced Bridge Exam
The Open Group OG0-9AB (TOGAF 8 - 9 Advanced Bridge) exam is a 2-hour exam with 28 total multiple choice questions. It is required to receive the TOGAF 9 certification, and cannot be taken unless the TOGAF 8 certification has already been earned. Registration must be done through Prometric, and the test must be taken at a certified Prometric testing center. The exam is only available in English.
Two sections make up this exam. The first section will include 20 multiple choice questions that will test basic knowledge of TOGAF 9 and the key differences (upgrades, additions, new features, etc.) between it and TOGAF 8. A score of 60% (12 correct answers) must be achieved. Basic and advanced knowledge is required to successfully complete the second section of the exam, which will consist of 8 practical, application-based multiple choice questions. These questions will be more complex and thought-provoking; a score of 60% (24 out of 40 possible points) is required.
To prepare for this test, candidates can enroll in an accredited TOGAF training course that will teach and review the conformance requirements of TOGAF 8-9 Bridging. A practice exam and study guide can be purchased from the Open Group website.
