The Open Group OG0-081 : TOGAF 8 Certification for Practitioners Exam
The Open Group OG0-081 (TOGAF 8 Certification for Practitioners) exam is a 120-minute exam with 101 multiple choice questions. 71 questions (or 70% of the total number of questions) must be answered correctly to successfully earn the TOGAF 8 certification. Information regarding TOGAF architectures and architecture development methods will be tested. No prerequisites are required before taking this test. The exam is only available in the English language.
It is offered by Prometric and must be taken at one of their qualified testing center. Candidates can locate centers worldwide and register at the Prometric website. To assist the training process, The Open Group offers several training courses specific to this class. The TOGAF 8 Study Guide, along with a set of practice exam questions, is also available; all of these resources can be found on the Open Group website.
Participants should be able to describe the ADM process and information sets. As this covers 75% of the exam material, participants must be able to describe eight components of the process: overall architecture, business architecture, data architecture, technology architecture, applications, implementation governance, opportunities/solutions, and migration planning. Analysis of and information sets within each area must be thoroughly explained. Other sections of the exam will cover foundation architecture (including TRM and SIB), TOGAF positioning, and the Enterprise Continuum.
