Symantec 250-511 : Administration of Symantec(TM) Data Loss Prevention 11 Exam
The objective of the Symantec 250-511 (Administration of Symantec(TM) Data Loss Prevention 11) exam is to assess the certification candidate's skill level and understanding of general design, installation/configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Symantec's Data Loss Prevention 11 product. The 250-511 exam is currently being offered in English and Japanese. Prior to taking this exam, prospects are encouraged to have a working knowledge of various Data Loss Prevention product features and Data Loss Prevention Solution Packs. Additionally, prospects should have accumulated at least six months of field experience using Symantec Data Loss Prevention 11 and its corresponding 5-day training course.
Candidates may select either the English or Japanese language in which to take the Symantec 250-511 exam. Participants will answer between 70-80 questions that are categorized into four main topic sections. The topics categories are as follows: Overview and Architecture, Installation and Configuration, Management and Reporting, and Basic Troubleshooting. Each topic category will contain content that requires the candidate to demonstrate their proficiency and skill of more in-depth tasks required for effective use of the Data Loss Prevention 11 product. Examinees who meet or exceed the minimum passing score of 77% will achieve their certification.
Symantec offers recommended courses that will adequately prepare the candidate for his or her certification goal.
