Symantec 250-240 : Veritas Storage Foundation 4.0 Specialist Exam
The Symantec 250-240 Veritas Storage Foundation 4.0 Specialist certification exam is a 100-minute exam with 64 multiple choice questions. It will test the concepts and features (basic and advanced) of Storage Foundation 4.0, as well as its use in storage management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Product training courses can be taken to prepare for the Symantec 250-240 exam. A score of 60% must be obtained to successfully pass this exam.
Participants should be knowledgeable of four main subject areas: basic concepts, advanced features/concepts, storage management, and performance monitoring/troubleshooting. Participants will be asked to identify and describe disk characteristics, define cross-platform data sharing, describe the differences between logical and physical PITCs, list the stages of Volume Manager disk configuration, administer Veritas File System, describe the performance analysis process, and identify/describe basic troubleshooting and recovery methods and aspects.
