The SRA (Alcatel-Lucent Service Routing Architect) certification is the most advanced certification offered in the service routing focus and is intended for experienced IT professionals to build on their previous certifications with Alcatel-Lucent. For this reason, candidates for the SRA typically hold the Alcatel-Lucent 3RP certification for some time before pursuing the SRA.
The SRA (Alcatel-Lucent Service Routing Architect) certification validates the candidate's ability to build carrier-grade business VPNs. The certification additionally covers advanced troubleshooting practices for addressing issues with more complex networks.
As an advanced certification, the SRA requires the completion of multiple Alcatel-Lucent qualification exams. To earn the SRA, candidates must complete all of the certification exams required for all of the other Alcatel-Lucent routing certifications combined, including the NRS I & II, MRP, and the 3RP certifications, as well as SRA-specific qualification exams.
Required exams including the 4A0-100 through the 4A0-109, in addition to appropriate lab exams for meeting the credentialing requirements for the NRS I through the 3RP certifications. The SRA-specific certification exams including:
4A0-110 - Advanced Troubleshooting
ASRA-4A0 - SRA Lab
After the SRA (Alcatel-Lucent Service Routing Architect) certification is earned through the successful completion of all required exams, the certification remains valid for a period of three years. Recertification to maintain the active certification requires a successful retake of the 4A0-110 exam.
