SOA S90.19 : Advanced SOA Security Exam
The SOA S90.19: Advanced SOA Security exam focuses on the advanced SOA security concepts. Successful candidates will possess advanced knowledge in security patterns, ESB practices, SOA infrastructure, Cloud-based services, REST services, and industry-related technologies. Passing the S90.19 exam is required in order to become a Certified SOA Security Specialist.
Exam participants will have one hour to take the SOA S90.19 exam. In order to prepare oneself for the concepts on the exam, SOA recommends completing the Course Module 19: Advanced SOA Security with an instructor, or completing the Module 19 Self-Study Kit. If an exam candidate is taking the self-study option, " SOA Principles of Service Design" and "Service-Oriented Architecture: Concepts, Technology & Design" are useful textbooks.
Specific concepts that may be included on the SOA S90.19 exam include security extensions and controls for ESBs, security patterns for internal service architecture, security risks and considerations for cloud-based services, and security for cloud-based service compositions. Additionally, the ability to use WS-Trust and WS-Secure Conversation with SAML and familiarity with using HTTP security mechanisms are required skills for the S90.19 exam.
