SNIA S10-200 : Snia Storage Network Management Administration Exam
The SNIA S10-200 (Snia Storage Network Management Administration) exam will cover knowledge of the administration and management of a storage networking data center and overall environment. It is assumed that candidates will know basic technologies and concepts, and will therefore test more specific components of an SAN and Fibre Channel, including security, performance, and change management. It is suggested that candidates successfully complete the SNIA Storage Network Foundations exam before taking this one.
Specific exam topics include the following:
1. Administration. Participants will be asked to create storage layouts, create an implementation policy, and identify steps for storage allocation and planning future growth of a Fibre Channel SAN
2. Performance and Management. Participants must properly assess the performance of a network storage environment and develop problem solutions. Specific management tasks, such as modifying zone sets and optimizing redundancy, must be identified and explained.
3. Change Management and Business Continuance. Participants should be able to troubleshoot a change management situation and identify components and procedures of a business continuance solution.
4. Recovery and Security. Backup steps, data restoration, and security measures should be understood.
