SAS A00-260 : SAS Data Integration Development Exam
The SAS A00-260 (SAS Data Integration Development) examination is a 120-minute exam with 78 multiple choice questions. This exam is the only requirement for the SAS Certified Data Integration Developer for SAS 9 certification and will test knowledge of defining architecture, creating metadata, and other data integration tasks. The exam is only available in the English language.
To prepare for the SAS A00-260 exam, candidates should enroll in the SAS Data Integration Studio: Fast Track accelerated training course, which will cover specific information that will be found on the exam. Sample questions can be downloaded from the SAS website, while other preparation materials may vary by location. The test is offered through Prometric and must be taken at any one of their worldwide training centers. A passing score of 70% is obligatory.
Several concepts will be covered on the SAS A00-260 exam. Participants must be able to create Metadata for source and target data, which includes defining administration tasks, describing the New Wizard library, and working with performance statistics. Participants should have knowledge of working with transformations (including the Table Loader transformation) and Slowly Changing Dimensions. Job deployment will be tested; participants should be able to discuss scheduling servers and import SAS code. Common knowledge of architecture and interfaces will also be tested.
