Successful candidates for this certification are capable of planning, configuring, deploying and administering databases in a cluster server environment.
There are two certification paths available for achieving the Oracle Database 10g RAC Administrator Certified Expert Certification. In the first path, candidates must hold a prerequisite certification as either an Oracle 10g DBA OCP, or an Oracle 11g DBA OCP, and must additionally pass the Oracle Database 10g R2: Administering RAC Exam (IZ0-048).
In the second path to certification, candidates must complete Oracle approved training in the certification's subject matter, in addition to passing the IZ0-048 exam. A third requirement is necessary for finalizing the certification, which is the completion and submission of a formal Oracle training course form.
