Becoming a Certified Master Java SE 6 Developer can be a huge move for a professional's career. This top of the line certification validates an exceptional level of competency in writing and developing code for Java SE 6. Many basic functions and components as acquired in previous programs will be present and incorporated into the two required tests. Years of experience working with the Java language is necessary to acquire this certification.
The first test, 1Z0-855, is part 1 of the two-part written test requirement. Candidates will be tested on correctly solving technical requirements while effectively incorporating Java APIs into the solution. The exam will require candidates to build a small client-server system that includes a correctly-coded server and client and the installation of a simple user interface. The second test, 1Z0-856, is a two hour essay that will focus on the candidate's choices during programming implementation.
Each test is supported with training courses that are highly recommended to be taken prior to registering for the exams. Both courses - Developing Applications With the Java SE 6 Platform and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML - will add to your overall understanding of the subject. Additionally, neither exam can be taken before the Java Professional or any Sun Certified Java Programmer certification is earned.
