Oracle 1z0-897 : Java EE 6 Web Services Developer Certified Expert Exam
The Oracle 1z0-897 Java EE 6 Web Services Developer CE exam is a 90-minute exam with 60 total questions. A passing score of 60% is required for attainment of the Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Web Services Developer certification, which ensures that candidates have the information they need to create, implement, and deploy web services and web service clients using Java technology components and the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 6 SDK (Java EE 6 SDK).
A recommended training course, Developing Web Services Using Java Technology, Java EE 6, can be taken. The Oracle 1z0-897 exam is available in the English language and will soon be available in the Japanese language.
Participants will be required to create a SOAP and RESTful web service in a servlet container, and one implemented by an EJB component. Being able to configure Java EE security for a SOAP web service is necessary.
Web service clients for SOAP and RESTful will need to be created, including one using the Java SE platform. Participants will also be required to create handlers and low-level SOAP web services, use MTOM, MIME, and WS-Addressing, configure message level security, and apply best practices to design and implement web services.
