Oracle 1z0-871 : MySQL 5 Developer Certified Professional (Part I) Exam
The Oracle 1z0-871 MySQL 5 Developer CP test is a 90-minute exam with 70 questions. It is required for the Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL 5 Developer certification, which is targeted toward candidates who will be developing applications that use MySQL as back-end storage. A score of 60% is required to pass.
The following areas will be tested: Client/Server Concepts, the Client Program, Connectors, Data Types, Identifiers, Databases, Tables and Indexes, Querying for Data, SQL Expressions, and Updating Data. A training course, MySQL for Developers, is recommended. The Oracle 1z0-871 exam is only available in the English language.
Participants will be required to know general MySQL architecture, client programs, and server modes. Knowing how to use MySQL interactively and knowing specific aspects of the client program is also required. The different data types, including numeric, string, and temporal, will be tested, as will knowledge of connectors, identifiers, and the different types and properties of databases, tables, and indexes. Querying processes, aggregating results, and grouping results, along with the components, types, and functions of SQL Expressions, will also be covered on this exam.
