Oracle 1Z0-216 Exam Description and Topics

The Oracle 1Z0-216: Oracle E-Business Suite R12: General Ledger and Receivables Fundamentals is a 150 minutes exam with a range of 110 questions. There are 13 different categories that will be included in this test, including Oracle General Ledger Processes, Basic Journal Entries, Advanced Security, and Financial Reporting, amongst others. A minimum score of 62% will be needed to pass the test.

A significant portion of the Oracle 1Z0-216 test is devoted to Accounting Setup Manager, Accounting Setups, Summary Accounts, and Financial Budgeting. In these sections, a candidate will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of how to describe the components of Ledger Processing options, describe Ledger Balancing Segment Value Assignments, explain summary accounts and how they are used in General Ledger, and explain the anatomy of a budget, amongst other items. Another important category on this test will be Consolidations, where a candidate must use the features and functionality of Global Consolidation System (GCS), use the elements of the Consolidation Workbench, and create eliminating entries

In order to prepare for the 1Z0-216 test, a candidate will be able to take the R12. x Oracle General Ledger Management Fundamentals course and the R12. x Oracle Receivables Management Fundamentals class. There will also be an online assessment test and sample questions to practice with.
