Oracle 1z0-144 : Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL Exam
The Oracle 1z0-144: Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL exam is part of the Oracle Certification Program. Its associated certification is for the PL/SQL Developer OCA position and that of the Advanced PL/SQL Developer OCP position. It contains 80 questions. Participants are given 90 minutes in which to complete the exam. There is a 65% passing score limit. However, the passing score is subject to change.
Exam topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Introduction to PL/SQL - Exam participants should effectively explain the need and benefits for PL/SQL and to identify the various types of PL/SQL blocks. They will also be required to output messages in Pl/SQL.
2. Declaring PL/SQL Variables - Exam candidates should be able to recognize valid and invalid identifiers and to list the uses of variables, declare and initialize variables, and to use bind variables. They also need to know how to list and describe various data types using the % TYPE attribute.
3. Creating Functions - Exam participants must demonstrate they can differentiate between a procedure and a function and to describe the uses of functions. They should also be able to work with functions (create, invoke and remove functions).
4. Creating Packages - Exam participants must be proficient at identifying the benefits and components of packages and working with them.
