Oracle 1z0-108 : Oracle WebLogic Server 10g System Administration Exam
The Oracle 1z0-108: Oracle WebLogic Server 10g System Administration exam is associated with certification for the Oracle WebLogic Server 10g System Administrator Certified Expert position. Participants must score 66% or higher on the 51 item exam and are granted 120 minutes in which to take the test. Passing score is subject to change.
Exam topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Product Installation- Exam participants are asked to install the JDK/JRE on supported platforms (if not included with jar distribution. ) They are also required to install WebLogic Server on supported platforms, and to install and configure WebLogic Server service packs and patches. Installation of Web Server plug-ins is required on supported platforms.
2. Create Domains - Exam participants are tested to create new domains using the Configuration Wizard and with WLST. They must create Domain/Configuration Templates using Domain Template Builder and using custom Domain/Configuration Templates.
3. Manage the Server Live Cycle - In order to qualify for certification, exam participants must start and stop WebLogic Administration and Managed Servers. They must configure a NodeManager to start WebLogic Server instances (using console and command-line) and must configure a NodeManager to automatically restart WebLogic Server instances in a failure scenario. They are also asked to start WebLogic Managed Servers in the absence of an Administration Server.
