Oracle 1z0-051 : Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I Exam
Oracle 1z0-051: SQL Fundamentals I exam has associations with certifications for Oracle 11gDBA OCA, Oracle 10g DBA OCA, Oracle 9i DBA OCA and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate positions. The exam contains 70 questions that are to be answered within a 120-minute timeframe. A passing score of 60% must be achieved to accomplish certification. However, the exact percentage is subject to change.
Exam topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Retrieving Data Using the SQL Select Statement - Exam participants must list the capabilities of SQL SELECT statements and to execute a basic SELECT statement.
2. Restricting and Sorting Data - Exam participants must be able to limit the rows that are retrieved by a query and to sort them, to use ampersand substitution to restrict and sort output at runtime.
3. Using Single-Row Functions to Customize Output - Exam participants shall accurately describe various types of functions that are available in SQL, and to use character, date and number functions in SELECT statements.
4. Reporting Aggregated Data Using the Group Functions: Exam participants are tested to identify the available group functions, to describe the use of group functions, to group data by using the GROUP BY clause and to include or exclude grouped rows by using the HAVING clause.
