Oracle 1z0-030 : Oracle9i: New Features for Administrators Exam
The Oracle 1z0-030: Oracle9i New Features for Administrators exam concerns itself with certifications for Oracle8i DBA OCPs to Oracle 9i DBA. IT is a 60-item exam that allows 105 minutes for completion. Participants must score at least 50% to pass. Passing score is subject to change.
Exam topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Oracle Server Security - Exam participants are asked to explain the options available for the new privileged connections. In addition, they must be able to describe the new security features, including their application: Secure Application Role, Global Context, Partitioned Fine Grain Access Control, and Fine-Grained Auditing.
2. General High Availability Technology - Exam participants are asked to explain new features that are designed to harden the database against unexpected down time. They are also asked to describe minimal I/O recovery, fast-start time-based recovery limit, Resumable Space Allocation as well as the new Export/Import features. They must explain the Oracle Flashback feature, and also to describe
3. Oracle9i LogMiner Enhancements - Exam participants are asked to explain LogMiner features: DDL statement support, the ability to use an online dictionary, the ability to skip log corruptions and dictionary staleness detection.
4. Backup and Recovery - Exam participants should have the ability to describe new backup enhancements, new restore/recovery enhancements and to describe new RMAN reliability features.
