Microsoft 77-884 : Outlook 2010 Exam
The Microsoft 77-884 (Outlook 2010) exam must be passed successfully to receive the Microsoft Office Specialist: Outlook 2010 certification. This proctored exam, offered exclusively by Microsoft, will test basic to intermediate features and functions of the Microsoft Office program. It is ideal for students, teachers, office workers, or other jobs that require adequate knowledge of Outlook.
Candidates can get a good grasp of the exam concepts by taking the Skills Training in Microsoft Outlook 2010 online course (course number 10350AE), a 4-hour training course that will provide participants with knowledge of email messaging and scheduling tasks in Outlook 2010. In addition, two practice exams can be taken online. The exam is only available in the English language.
The Microsoft 77-884 exam will require knowledge of how to do the following tasks:
1. Managing contacts, email messages, and calendar objects. Participants should be able to create and manage contacts and groups, manage the mailbox and folders, create rules and automatic messages, use the calendar pane, and create and manage appointments/events.
2. Create and format item content. This section will pertain to the creation and sending of email messages. Participants must be familiar with creating item content, using formatting tools, creating themes and styles, attaching content to an email, and configuring delivery/sending options.
3. Managing the environment. Participants will be asked to apply program options, manage the content pane, apply search and filter options, and create/manipulate tasks and notes.
