Juniper JN0-541 : JNCIA-IDP (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate) Exam
Those holding a JNCIA-IDP certification must retake the current version of the Juniper JN0-541: JNCIA-IDP (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate) exam in order to become recertified. Before taking the 60 question JN0-541 exam, it is recommended that a potential exam candidate complete the training course Implementing Intrusion Detection and Prevention Products (IIDP). Even with the course, the JN0-541 exam is still aimed only towards those candidates with beginning to intermediate networking experience.
The Juniper JN0-541 exam is offered worldwide at Prometric testing centers. Each exam is entirely multiple choice and lasts for 90 minutes. A passing score is 70%, and participants will be notified of their score immediately after taking the JN0-541 exam.
Potential exam candidates must have knowledge in how to configure all of the following: policies, IDP Sensor, other IDP-related rulebases, and the profiler. Specifically, candidates should be prepared to explain the aspects relating to deployment of the IDP Sensor, the components of an IDP rule, Network Honeypot operation, and the general steps required to use the Profiler. Further exam concepts may test the candidate's knowledge of intrusion detection concepts, sensor operation and sensor command-line utilities, managing attack objects and creating custom signatures, and maintenance and troubleshooting.
