Juniper JN0-532 : JNCIS-FWV (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist) Exam
Only networking professionals with expert knowledge of and previous professional experience working with Juniper Firewall/VPN products and ScreenOS software should take the Juniper JN0-532: JNCIS-FWV (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist) exam. Though the JN0-532 exam covers many of the same topics as the JN0-522, the JN0-532 exam expects participants to have a deeper understanding of the concepts.
Prior to taking the Juniper JN0-532 exam, it is recommended that the potential exam taker complete the following training courses: Configuring Juniper Networks Firewall/IPSec VPN Products, Integrating Juniper Networks Firewalls and VPNs into High-Performance Networks, Advanced Juniper Networks IPSec VPN Implementations, and Attack Prevention with Juniper Networks Firewalls. These courses may help review the expertise the participant should already have, and make it more likely that the candidate will be able to pass the 75 multiple choice questions with the necessary 80% or higher score. Regardless of whether the candidate passes or fails, they will be aware of their score immediately after taking the JN0-532 exam.
Exam participants are tested on their knowledge of VPNs and dynamic routing/routing over VPNs. Questions may focus on configuring/verifying AC-VPNs, dynamic peer VPNs, transparent mode VPNs, overlapping networks, OSPF options, and BGP. Other concepts on the JN0-532 exam may include network management, troubleshooting with debug and snoop, traffic management, virtual systems, NSRP, attack prevention, and multicast.
