The Juniper JN0-522: JNCIA-FWV (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate) exam is a 90 minute multiple choice test. Successful candidates must answer no less than 80% of the 60 questions correctly in order to pass. The candidate's score will be immediately available to them after completing the exam at any of the worldwide Prometric testing centers.
The JN0-522 exam is aimed towards networking professionals who have beginner or intermediate knowledge with Juniper Firewall/VPN products, as well as with ScreenOS software. Throughout the exam, participants will be tested on their knowledge of VPNs. This will require them to list basic VPN requirements, describe IPSec operations, and validate VPN operations. They will also need to be knowledgeable about how to configure policy-based VPNs and differentiate between route-based and policy-based VPNs.
Additional topics on the Juniper JN0-522 exam may include the administration of firewall/VPN devices, layer 2/transparent mode operations, layer 3 operations, policy configuration, and address translation. Participants need to be familiar with the concepts relating to syslog, dns, snmp, loopback, NAT-src, DIPs, NAT-dst, MIPs, and VIPs.
