Juniper JN0-130 : JNCIS-E (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist) Exam
The Juniper JN0-130: JNCIS-E (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist) is a one day exam that has been designed to validate and certify that a candidate has the ability to successfully build an ISP consisting of multiple E-series virtual routers. The JNCIP-E certification is valid for two years, at the end of which it will be necessary for a candidate to recertify.
The Juniper JN0-130 is a practical exam, which means that it is administered in a hands-on format. The exam will last approximately 8 hours. A candidate will be notified as to whether they have passed or failed the exam within ten business days of the exam date. Before taking this exam, a candidate must already have the JNCIS-E certification.
The content of the Juniper JN0-130 exam can be split into four different categories. The first two portions of the exam are devoted to examining a candidate's knowledge of Broadband Remote Access Sever Configuration and Routing Protocol Configuration. Subtopics that will arise on this portion of the exam include PPPOE with static interfaces, Metro Ethernet, and basic EBGP session configuration and policy implementation.
The last two portions of this exam will cover Management and MPLS/VPN. Here, a candidate can be expected to be tested on how to enable SNMP, configuring traps to be sent to a syslog host, and L3 2547 VPNs with PE-CE BGP routing policies.
