ISC2 CISSP : Certified Information Systems Security Professional Exam
The target audience for the ISC2 CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional exam is designed for security consultants, security managers, security auditors and architects, and others in related fields who wish to improve their professional standing. In order to take this exam, a candidate must have a minimum of five years of direct full-time security professional work experience in two or more of the ten domains of the (ISC)2 CISSP CBK.
In order to prepare for the ISC2 CISSP exam, an official review seminar will be offered for candidates. Candidates will be able to choose whether they would like to take this review seminar in a classroom setting, privately with an instructor, or in a live, online classroom webinar. These review sessions will be conducted by certified professionals.
The content of the ISC2 CISSP exam will be split into ten separate domains. An example of one topic that will appear on the exam is Access Control. Here, a candidate will need to demonstrate their knowledge of the concepts, methodologies, and techniques of Access Control, attacks, and effectiveness.
The other domain topics that will appear on this exam include Telecommunications and Network Security, Information Security Governance and Risk Management, Software Development Security, Cryptography, Security Architecture and Design, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.
