IIBA CBAP : Certified Business Analysis Professional Exam
The IIBA CBAP Certified Business Analysis Professional exam provides a professional business certification which certifies that an individual has extensive business analysis experience. A business analysis practitioner is primarily responsible for requirement analysis and requirements management, such as analyzing, validating, and documenting operational requirements.
The cost of taking the IIBA CBAP exam will be approximately $325.00 USD. In order to prepare for the exam, it is recommended that an individual review the IIBA BABOK Guide, review the FAQ section of the IIBA website, and review the recommended sources on the IIBA website. Additionally, classrooms and workshops will be offered periodically.
The CBAP exam is going to consist of 150 questions that will be presented in multiple choice format. A candidate will be allotted 210 minutes in which to complete the exam, and some of the questions will be based upon comprehension of the presented material, while others will be situational analysis based.
The content of this exam will be split into 5 primary sections: Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Elicitation, Requirements Management and Communication, Enterprise Analysis, Requirements Analysis, and Solution Assessment and Validation. Approximately 40% of this exam will be devoted to testing a candidate's knowledge of Business Analysis Planning and Requirements Analysis.
