IBM COG-706 : Cognos Financial Statement Reporting Developer Exam
The IBM COG-706 (IBM Cognos Financial Statement Reporting Developer) examination, given only in English, contains 60 questions, which must be completed within 90 minutes. To pass the exam, a score of at least 68% is required, which is necessary in order to earn IBM Certified Developer - Cognos Financial Statement Reporting certification. Applicants may go to the Prometric website to register for the test.
Possible test preparation choices include taking a classroom course, an instructor-led classroom course, or a self-paced virtual classroom course. Familiarity with product documentation is also helpful. While all of these are helpful, none is mandatory.

2. Building reports entails demonstrating knowledge of creation of new FSR reports, Word and Web page objects, Excel objects and functionality, and describing TOC heading and Note Numbering, workflow setup, and sharing objects.
3. To prove knowledge of content and data, it is necessary to identify FSR data load methods, and to demonstrate knowledge of charts and pictures, along with FSR variables and FSR validation rules.
4. The administrative tasks topic include exhibiting knowledge of custom groups and copying an FSR report for yearly rollover, as well as describing the audit trail and snapshot functions and describing creating and setting users, roles, and permissions.
