IBM COG-702 : Cognos TM1 10.1 Developer Exam
The IBM COG-702 (IBM Cognos TM1 10.1 Developer) test, available only in English, is comprised of 60 questions, for whose completion 90 minutes are allotted. A minimum score of 68% is required to pass the examination in order to be certified as an IBM Certified Developer - Cognos TM1 10.0. Registration is made through the Prometric website.
Learning resources, such as courses and product documentation, are available to aid in preparing for the test. A five-day classroom course and an instructor-led online course are both offered, as well as a self-paced virtual classroom. While these are strongly recommended , they are not mandatory for taking the certification exam.
Also available is an optional sample/assessment test in PDF format, designed to familiarize applicants with the content and format of the examination. It is not intended to be an indicator of performance on the actual test or an assessment tool.
Eight topics and their related subtopics are on the IBM COG-702 examination, and they are:
1. Cubes will be examined via demonstrating knowledge of cubes, control cubes, views, and cube attributes.
2. To show familiarity of processes, applicants will demonstrate knowledge of Turbo Integrator (TI), importing and exporting data using TI, and executing TI processes.
3. The security topic is covered by describing user authentication and authorization.
