IBM COG-615 Exam Description and Topics

IBM COG-615 (IBM Cognos Real-time Monitoring Developer) exam is geared for professionals whose job requires the configuration, modeling, and maintenance of IBM Cognos Real-time Monitoring applications and are interested in obtaining this certification. This is a 90-minute exam (administered in English) that will test candidates in their mastery of the key concepts, functions, and technological features of the Cognos Real-tim Monitoring. Candidates who successfully achieve the minimum passing score of 65% will earn the title of IBM Certified Developer-Cognos Real-time Monitoring and that of IBM Certified Solution Expert-Cognos BI.

Leading up to the exam date, candidates can take advantage of educational training opportunities that correspond with this certification. IBM offers a classroom course, product documentation, and a practice assessment that will aid in exam preparation. The sample assessment test will provide the candidate with a general simulation of the format and timing of the certification exam.

The COG-615 exam will contain a total of 60 questions. Exam topics will be centered on describing and demonstration of product architecture, business requirements and key performance indicators, demonstrating a variety of data modeling principles, security model concepts and authentication providers, business rules and exception management, dashboard and dashboard object concepts, and business insight.
