IBM COG-310 : IBM Cognos TM1 Developer Exam
The IBM COG-310 (IBM Cognos TM1 Developer) exam fulfills a portion of IBM's Professional Certification eligibility criteria for the title of IBM Certified Developer-Cognos TM1. Candidates will be tested on their knowledge of concepts and technological features of the Cognos TM1 software as well as their understanding of the product's functionality. Achieving the minimum passing score of 73% on this exam will also satisfy a portion of the criteria for the IBM Certified Advanced Solution Expert-Cognos TM1 certification track. At this time, English is the only language in which this exam is being offered.
Prior to taking the COG-310 exam, candidates are encouraged to review training material and partake of the sample assessment that is associated with this particular certification area. IBM is making available classroom courses, product documentation guides, and self-paced virtual classroom opportunities as support tools for candidates. The sample assessment is intended to provide the candidate with a guideline for actual test format and possible content that will be encountered on the certification exam.
Examples of topics that will appear on the COG-310 exam include, but are not limited to, the following: Components of TM1, Dimensions and cubes, Turbo Integrator (TI), Rules, Advanced techniques for TI scripting, Drill Through, Virtual and lookup cubes, Time considerations, and Data presentation/reporting. More specifically, the 63 items on this exam will test the candidate's ability to identify and describe a variety of features, applications, and problem solving concepts related to each topic category.
