IBM 000-N18 : IBM Information Management DB2 10 Technical Mastery Test v3 Exam
The purpose of the IBM 000-N18 (IBM Information Management DB2 10 Technical Mastery Test v3) is to examine a sales representative's technical mastery of the IBM DB2 products and targets. Mastery of the subject matter must include sales knowledge, as well as technical skills. In terms of sales, individuals must be able to prove that they have skills associated with identifying, managing and closing sales opportunities.
The IBM 000-N18 exam covers 35 questions and can be taken in English, Chinese Simplified, Japanese and Portuguese Brazilian. A total of 75 minutes is allotted for the test taker, who must receive at least a 62% to prove their mastery of the subject. Anyone who does pass the material has fulfilled the necessary requirements of Advanced and Premier PartnerWorld membership levels. The 000-N18 exam also meets one of the requirements needed for the IBM Software Value Incentive Program.
To successfully pass the IBM 000-N18 exam, a test taker must prove their understanding of product packaging and licensing, the basic concepts and tools associated with DB2, and administrative and security aspects of DB2. The exam will also test the knowledge of benefits associated with RCAS, LBAC, data compression, data partioning, temporal tables, HADR, and workload manager. To fully understand these varied concepts, taking advantage of the DB2 10 Information Center and DB2 10 Bootcamp before the exam is recommended.
