IBM 000-M78 : IBM Initiate Master Data Service Technical Mastery v1 Exam
The IBM 000-M78 (IBM Initiate Master Data Service Technical Mastery v1) exam is a 75-minute exam with 40 total questions that tests knowledge of Initiate Master Data components and sales concepts. It meets the requirement for IBM Initiate Master Data Service Professional v1 certification, as well as the IBM Software Value Incentive Program and PartnerWorld advanced and premier membership. A score of 62% is required to pass.
An Initiate Fundamentals Course, as well as an online study option covering similar course material, is available for enrollment. Documentation of specific components of IMDS is available to read at IBM's online InfoCenter. The exam is only available in the English language.
Knowledge of implementation activities will comprise a third of the exam. Participants should be able to describe and explain such things as:
1. How to locate anonymous values in a data set
2. How to run a Bulk Cross Match
3. Data derivation
4. The use of Jobs and the Analytics perspective in Workbench
Participants should also have adequate knowledge of the use and configuration of algorithms, weights, and thresholds. Identifying the different types of Tasks is beneficial, while being able to describe key components of the data model for such things as attributes, entities, users and groups, identifiers, and anonymous values is required.
