IBM 000-913 : Informix 4GL Development Exam
The IBM 000-913 (Informix 4GL Development) is an examination that is primarily geared towards testing the candidate's knowledge of Informix development and all of the specifics that come along with the field. The examination consists of 90 questions that the candidate will have a time period of no less than 90 minutes to complete. During that time, the candidate will have to answer no fewer than 78% of the questions correctly in order to pass the examination. At this time, the examination is only offered in English.
The IBM 000-913 examination covers fields that include the basics of the Informix 4GL system, statements for the system, cursors and memory, creating a help file, creating a report driver, defining a program's variables, displaying forms and windows, forms that use arrays, passing values, procedural logic, REPORT functions and SQLCA record. Basically, all of the ins and outs of the Informix system and its proposed functions.
To prepare for the IBM 000-913 examination, candidates will have the option to attend a course that will cover all of the information to be found on the examination. The course is a five day course that candidate's may elect to attend. Alternatively, there is a 40 hour online course that they can take to help review for the information on the examination.
