IBM 000-819 : Rational Application Developer V8 Associate Exam
The IBM 000-819 (Rational Application Developer V8 Associate) test is an examination that is set up to test the candidate's knowledge of rational application development for the associate level. The examination consists of 60 questions that the candidates will have no less than 75 minutes to complete. During the test's duration, the candidates must complete 60% of the scored items correctly to continue on to receive the certification.
Candidates are tested on their knowledge of workbench basics for the system, Java development skills, web development abilities, enterprise and component development, database access and persistence, deploying and testing as well as debugging the applications. All of these items will be associated with the application developer position, so candidates must have a very thorough knowledge of the subject matter.
Though the IBM 000-819 examination does not permit any supplemental resource information, candidates are able to review some of the online materials that will prepare them for the information that will be covered on the examination. This information is not allowed in the examination room, but can be reviewed at any time before taking the examination, though no course is offered to supply any additional information.
