IBM 000-724 : IBM WebSphere Commerce V7.0, System Administration Exam
IBM is offering this exam to professionals who are seeking the IBM Certified Administrator-WebSphere Commerce V7.0 certification. The IBM 000-724 (WebSphere Commerce V7.0, System Administration) exam is designed to assess the candidate's knowledge of IBM WebSphere Commerce architecture and their skill in installing, configuring, setting up and administering the product. Examinees who score 55% or higher will earn the passing mark necessary to meet the certification requirements. Prior to taking this exam, candidates should have hands-on work experience with the product. Exam content is based on industry-standard knowledge that is gained through work experience and training events.
During the course of this 90-minute exam, candidates will answer 56 multiple-choice questions. The seven categories of exam topics will include the following: Architecture; Installation, Configuration, and Migration; Set-up and Administer IBM WebSphere Commerce Stores; Maintain and Monitor IBM WebSphere Commerce; Security and Auditing; Performance Tuning; Support and Troubleshooting. Each section will require the candidate to address additional items specifically related to that topic section.
IBM is pleased to present a variety of training courses that are intended to supplement a candidate's work experience with IBM WebSphere. Classroom and online versions of courses are available to provide instruction on a wide range of WebSphere principles. Although these courses are not required, participation will greatly increase the candidate's chances for successfully passing the IBM 000-724 exam and earning their subsequent certification.
