IBM 000-669 : SOA Fundamentals  Exam
The IBM 000-669 (SOA Fundamentals ) exam contains 54 multiple choice questions, which must be completed within 90 minutes. The lowest possible passing score is a 67%.
During the IBM 000-669 exam, candidates will be tested on their understanding of the value of SOA, SOA concepts, basic SOA architecture, SOA management, and preparing for SOA. Candidates will need to be able to identify business functions, understand how to improve competitiveness and reduce costs, define what a service means in SOA, demonstrate their knowledge of the stages of the SOA lifecyle, and explain the need for SOA governance. Additionally, candidates must have knowledge of Quality of Service and service management issues, and they must be able to explain how each of those are related to SOA management.
Candidates may choose to prepare for the 000-669 course through taking the IBM classroom course, "Getting Started with SOA, " which lasts for two days. Other candidates may choose to take the online course, "Introducing the Value and Governance Model of Service-Oriented Architecture, " or the other online course, "Getting Started with SOA (Self-Paced)."
