IBM 000-667 : Architectural Design of SOA Solutions Exam
The IBM 000-667 (Architectural Design of SOA Solutions) exam may be taken in either English or Japanese. Each candidate has 150 minutes to pass the 60 multiple choice questions on the exam. In order to pass, at least 55% of the questions must be answered correctly. The three related certifications for this exam are the IBM Certified SOA Solution Designer [2007], IBM Certified Administrator for SOA Solutions - WebSphere Process Server V6.2, and IBM Certified Administrator for SOA Solutions - WebSphere Process Server V7.0.
Thirty percent of the IBM 000-667 exam covers SOA design. During this portion of the exam, candidates will tested on their knowledge of identifying SOA patterns and applying them to the customers' problems, incorporating the IBM SOA Foundation into appropriate designs, and identifying the appropriate standards for the solution in a design. The remaining 70% of the exam focuses on knowledge of applied SOA, SOA assessment and analysis, SOA realization, and SOA deployment and management.
Many candidates choose to prepare for the exam by taking the optional IBM classroom or online courses available. Other candidates may choose to review the concepts found on the 000-667 exam through examining Redbook, retail book, white paper, and web resources.
