IBM 000-541 : DB2 9.7 DBA for Linux UNIX and Windows Exam
The IBM 000-541 (DB2 9.7 DBA for Linux UNIX and Windows) examination consists of sixty questions. Students are given ninety minutes to complete the examination, and a minimum score of sixty-one percent is required to pass the test. The examination is available in English only. Preparation for the examination can be made by taking an associated course.
There are three different courses an applicant can choose to take in order to become familiar with the questions that will be on the examination. The three course choices are classroom course, instructor-led online instruction course, or an online instruction course. Any one of these courses will give applicants the technical information they will need to know about the features and functions of the DB2 9.7, when it is used in Linux, UNIX, and Windows with different types of DB databases.
Multiple topics will be covered in the 000-541 examination to test an applicant's understanding of the DB2 9.7 DBA. These topics include server management for DB2 systems, the physical design of the system, rules for implementing the system in businesses, monitoring the activity of a DB2, security of the system, as well as networking and connectivity aspects of the system.
