IBM 000-538 : IBM Tivoli Monitoring V6.2.2 Implementation Exam
The IBM 000-538 (IBM Tivoli Monitoring V6.2.2 Implementation) examination consists of sixty-two questions. Applicants are given ninety minutes to complete the exam. The test is available only in the English language and a minimum grade of 62% or higher is required to pass.
The IBM 000-538 examination will test an applicant's ability to utilize a Tivoli Enterprise Portal for managing enterprise environments. Applicants must exhibit a keen ability to navigate and construct a Tivoli environment. Applicants should also know how to manage different situational events, visualize historical data and real time data, and publish workplaces capable of monitoring. A classroom or an eLearning course may be completed to prepare for the examination.
Applicants will demonstrate a thorough understanding of how to implement IBM monitoring in production environments. They will be tested on various topics and subtopics relating to the course used to prepare for the examination. Some of the primary topics on the exam will include: the ability to identify key participants, sponsors, and stakeholders, the ability to define the interactions between ITM components and non-ITM components in different environments, and how to deploy ITM environments and determine what the most expedient installation methods are.
