IBM 000-051 : Rational Developer for System z v7.6 Exam
IBM 000-051 (Rational Developer for System z v7.6) test is a certification exam targeting intermediate level mainframe application developers. IBM Rational Developer for System z is used to create mainframe applications utilizing COBOL and PL/I. Deploying the applications inside CICS, IMS with batching and /or accessing data from DB2.
Applications on the list may include COBOL Complex, PL/I with constructs belonging to DB2 data. Web services, interaction with other runtime environments such as WebSphere's Application and Process Servers including service flow.
The targeted individual for the 000-051 exam is able to design, develop and debug applications in the COBOL environment. Understands the deployment time, contains a complete understanding of mainframe development processes, runtimes and web services.
The qualifying exam contains sixty questions and is given ninety minutes to complete, on completion you must have a sixty percent or higher score to pass. The test is given in English only.
