Hitachi HH0-400 : Hitachi Data Systems Certified Architect - Business Continuity Exam
To prove that an exam taker has the abilities and skills to architect a Hitachi Data Systems business continuity solution, they must take the Hitachi HH0-400: Hitachi Data Systems Certified Architect - Business Continuity exam. The 59 question exam is designed for Hitachi Data Systems personnel who already work as storage architects. Exam takers should have experience assessing, planning, and designing storage solutions using the HDS products and technology.
Broadly speaking, the HH0-400 will require participants to understand business and recovery requirements. They will need to have knowledge in replication architecture, making technology recommendations, workload analysis, connectivity design, and configuration sizing. More specifically, participants need to be able to define RPO, identify the time frames to Resync, identify failover recovery techniques, identify throughput considerations, and determine volume placement.
Before taking the HH0-400 exam, participants must already have the HDS Certified Professional credential. Those looking to become an HDS Certified Architect - Business Continuity must pass one of the Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations certification exams in addition to the HH0-400 exam.
A passing score on the HH0-400 is 68% or higher. The cost to take the exam is $200 for anyone in North America, and $225 for those living outside of North America. The duration of the exam also depends upon the participant's location. English speaking countries take 60 minute exams, while non-English speaking countries take 90 minute exams.
