This HDI certification documents the candidate possesses not only the knowledge required to address desktop technical concerns but also the customer service skills necessary for managing the client or customer relationship and communications as well.

To earn the HDI-DST certification, candidates must pass a single, 65-question, multiple choice exam with a score of 80% or greater. Though recommended, pre-testing training is not required. HDI members can access study materials free of charge on the company website. Non-members may purchase these same materials.
