Exin TMPTE : TMap NEXT® Test Engineer Exam
The Exin TMPTE: TMap NEXT Test Engineer exam is a 1-hour test comprised of 30 multiple choice questions in the area of structured testing through the Test Management Approach (TMap). The TMap NEXT® Test Engineer certification can be acquired through knowledge of the testing process life cycle and the related tools, techniques, and infrastructure. The exam is available in the English, Dutch, German, Japanese, and Portuguese languages.
Before registering for the Exin TMPTE test it is recommended that all participants have at least 6 months of practical, hands-on experience in the testing field. To prepare, candidates can enroll in an available classroom or online training course. Sample exam questions and an in-depth preparation guide can be found online. To successfully earn this certification, candidates must reach a score of 65% on the exam.
Participants will be tested on the TMap framework features and processes. Participants must identify testing concepts and procedures and advantages to the structured testing approach. Knowledge of test design, including concepts, techniques, and coverage types, is required, as is knowledge of the TMap life cycle phases (Planning, Controlling, Organizing, and Maintaining infrastructure), quality characteristics, test tools, and test environment. Participants should also be able to describe aspects of development testing.
