Exin TMPF : TMap NEXT® Foundation Exam
The Exin TMPF TMap NEXT Foundation exam is a 60-minute exam with 30 multiple choice questions. It is required to receive the TMap NEXT® Foundation certification and is part of both the Short Track Test Management and Academy Track Software Design and Development programs. The exam is available in English, German, Dutch, and Brazilian Portuguese. A passing score of 65% is required.
Prior to taking the Exin TMPF exam, it is recommended that candidates have 6-12 months of experience in the testing field and general knowledge of system development. An exam guide and set of sample questions is available to review. It is also highly suggested that candidates review the literature associated with this exam, a list of which can be found on the Exin website.
Participants should be familiar with the following items:
1. Structured testing and TMAP essentials - Candidates should familiar with the four essentials of TMAP, along with various test terms.
2. Developing testing and test design - Participants should possess knowledge of development testing and the application of coverage types and test design techniques.
3. Test implementation and management - Knowledge of the test implementation phases (including preparation, specification, and execution) and the test management phases (including planning and maintaining infrastructure) is required.
