Typically, an EWDA certified professional has experience performing tasks within a team setting, but is not experienced enough to lead major projects by themselves yet.
Specific technologies that a EWDA professional may be skilled in include object-oriented programming, application documentation, REST, SOAP, Web API tools, and secured services. Also, an EWDA should possess skills in defining map and layer concepts, troubleshooting Web applications, and understanding relevant performance implications.
Earning the EWDA (Esri Web Application Developer Associate) certification requires passing the Web Application Developer Associate exam. The exam contains 94 questions which must be answered within two hours.
