Esri EADP10 : ArcGIS Desktop Professional Exam
The Esri EADP10 ArcGIS Desktop Professional examination will present candidates with 95 multiple choice questions that must be completed in a 135-minute timeframe. It is necessary to receive the ArcGIS Desktop Professional technical certification from Esri, which shows that candidates are capable of applying knowledge of ArcGIS to bigger-picture concepts, processes, and objectives.
It is highly recommended that candidates first become certified as a Desktop Associate, as basic skills and knowledge learned in that program will be applied in this program, at a more advanced level. Instructor-led and web training courses, which will cover specific aspects of this exam, are available for enrollment. A set of practice questions can be downloaded, while training seminars, workbooks, and guidebooks are also available for additional studying purposes.
Participants must assume knowledge of a variety of topics:
1. The ability to perform surface modeling and analysis, spatial database design, and advanced vector analysis is required.
2. Participants should be able to use advanced modeling techniques and understand advanced network analysis concepts. Experience using fundamental ArcGIS Desktop extensions is assumed.
3. Participants will be required to define an appropriate coordinate system, build complex data sets, and publish a map/image service.
