The ESDA (Esri Enterprise System Design Associate) certification requires foundation level skills in concepts relating to enterprise systems integration support. The concepts include terms, architecture, and technology, and how these aspects impact design. Additionally, a certified ESDA understands system performance, capacity planning, information product design, and scalability. An ESDA certified professional is able to support project implementation.
Professionals with the ESDA (Esri Enterprise System Design Associate) certification are able to design solutions and systems of either simple or medium complexity. Additionally, qualified ESDA certified professionals are able to contribute on teams working on more complex enterprise solutions.
Certification candidates are recommended to have at least 18 months of experience working with Esri technology and five years of experience with enterprise and solution architecture. Additionally, candidates must pass the Enterprise System Design Associate test. All exam takers will have to pass 95 questions within two and a half hours.
