As a certification that requires foundation skill levels, the EMCISA (EMC Information Storage and Management) is an excellent place to begin a career. Not only does the certification open job opportunities by itself, but the EMCISA is also a base certification for both the EMCST and EMCSA (Specialist and Expert) certifications.
During their daily responsibilities, an EMCISA makes decisions based on their understanding of Storage Systems and related technologies, such as Business Continuity, Storage Security and Management, and Storage Networking Technologies. Additionally, EMCISA certified individuals are recognized for their understanding of SAN, CAS, IP-SAN, Backup and Recovery, Virtualization, Security, and NAS.
In order to earn the EMCISA certification, candidates must pass the Information Storage and Management (EMCISA) test. During the exam, candidates will be given 90 minutes to pass 65 questions.
