EMC E22-192 : Captiva Installation, Configuration, and Management Exam
The EMC E22-192 (Captiva Installation, Configuration, and Management) exam is a 130-minute exam that will cover knowledge of configuration and administration tasks related to InputAccel and Dispatcher. Candidates will be required to know such things as integration points, installation steps, troubleshooting methods, and commonly-used features and functions. The exam is only available in English.
It is required to receive the EMC Proven Professional - Captiva Installation, Configuration, and Management certification. To prepare, candidates should enroll in a training course offered by EMC. Courses include the following: InputAccel Development, InputAccel Fundamentals and Administration, Dispatcher Fundamentals and Development, and InputAccel Client-Side Scripting. In addition to general information such as platform architecture, components, features, and functionality, participants should be keen on the following topics:
1. Installation and Configuration - Participants will be asked to describe system and migration requirements and procedures, and should be able to determine performance, tuning, and scalability configurations.
2. Development - Participants should know how to perform process development and use Client-Side Scripting.
3. Administration and Troubleshooting - The ability to describe troubleshooting procedures, use logs/reports, and manage processes, batches, and security is required.
