EMC E20-855 : Storage Area Network (SAN) Expert Exam for Implementation Engineers Exam
The EMC E20-855 (Storage Area Network (SAN) Expert Exam for Implementation Engineers) will examine information related to SAN implementation and migration. The 66 questions on this exam will include knowledge of these processes, their assessment, and the current technologies used. A total of 120-minutes is given to successfully complete this exam. It is only available in the English language.
Two training courses are available to prepare for the EMC E20-855 exam. One, Advanced SAN Implementation, is an instructor-led training course, and the other, Introduction to Connectrix SAN Encryption, is an online independent study course. Also available is a practice exam, which candidates should take to view sample questions and assess their level of knowledge.
Participants should have a solid understanding of the iSCSI and Fibre Channel SAN Implementation. Participants must be aware of the related services, security considerations, tuning capabilities, and key implementation considerations. An understanding of troubleshooting concepts, such as problem analysis, data collection, and tools/commands, is necessary. Participants should also know how to implement Connectrix Encryption and FCOE Solution. Key elements of the hardware, steps of the implementation process for each component, and performance optimization techniques must be known.
