EMC E20-830 : Network Attached Storage (NAS) Expert Exam for Technology Architects Exam
The EMC E20-830 (Network Attached Storage (NAS) Expert Exam for Technology Architects) exam is intended for technology architects who possess strong knowledge of planning and design intricate NAS solutions and implementation practices. The exam, available only in English, consists of approximately 60 questions in a 2-hour timeframe. It is the qualifying exam for the EMC Technology Architect - NAS Expert certification.
Although not required, four training courses - two that are instructor-led, two that are independent study - are available to take, each one reviewing different aspects of the NAS Expert exam. As well, sample questions and a practice exam can be taken to review specific knowledge and become comfortable with the test format. The following topics will be found on the EMC E20-830 exam:
1. Celerra Planning and Design - Participants should be able to identify control/management best practices and information relevant to Celerra implementation. Celerra Replicator concepts, such as configuration and processes of a solution, must also be described.
2. Performance Overview - Participants will be asked to describe performance testing tools metrics, optimization of Celerra file service performance, volume management, caching issues, and performance best practices. RAID and disk types should also be correctly identified and described.
